Day 01 - Arrive Delhi
Book NowOn arrival at Delhi, after clearing immigration and customs, step into the receiving area where you will be met and assisted by Grand Travel Planner representative and transferred to the hotel for a Check-in. Delhi a dynamic city where the past and the present coexist, has been ruled by numerous dynasties. The city is rich in the architecture of its monuments. Diverse cultural elements absorbed into the daily life of the city have enriched its character. Seven times this city went through the pain of being built, destroyed and rebuilt. It has been witness to many important events in Indian history, and today it stands proud as the capital of India.

Day 02 - Delhi
Golden Triangle & Nepal ItineraryAfter breakfast, embark on a sightseeing tour of the New Delhi which includes visits to such sights as the Qutab Minar 72 meters high and one of the most perfect towers in the Persian world. The Iron Pillar which has survived the vagaries of weather for over 1500 years & Humayun’s Tomb. Continue with a drive through Embassy area, the Government buildings (1921-1930.) & visit Old Delhi Old Delhi: An ancient walled city. Here you will drive past the Red Fort, Raj Ghat, the memorial site of the Mahatma Gandhi; Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India; and Chandni Chowk, the bustling and colorful market of the old city. Day 03 - Delhi-Jaipur By Road
Morning, after breakfast, leave by car for Jaipur and on arrival, transfer to Hotel.-The capital city of the state of Rajasthan is popularly known as the Pink City, from the pink colored sandstone with which the buildings in its old, walled city are constructed. The town is in a desert-like landscape, surrounded by barren hills. Jaipur owes its name, its foundation and its careful planning to the great warrior-astronomer Maharaja Jai Singh II (1699-1744). His predecessors had enjoyed good relations with the Moghuls but in 1727, with Moghul power on the wane, Jai Singh decided the time was ripe to move down from his hillside fortress at nearby Amber to a new site on the plains. He laid out the city with its surrounding walls and six rectangular blocks after the principles of town planning set forth in the Shilpa Shastra, an ancient Hindu treatise on architecture.
Afternoon, visit Jaipur City: Hawa Mahal or Palace of the Winds, a five-storied structure of pink sandstone with semi-octagonal and delicately honeycombed windows overlooking the main street of the old city. It was built in 1799 so that veiled royal woman could peer down unseen by the world through it s 593 stone screens. We proceed for a guided tour of the City Palace & Observatory. Drive past Hawa Mahal or the palace of Winds, Jantar Mantar & visit colourful Bazaar passing through the rose-pink residential and business area of Jaipur.

Day 04 - Jaipur
After breakfast, visit Amber Fort, the former capital of the royal Rajputs. Few fail to be moved by the dramatic Rajput grandeur of this hilltop fortress-palace 11-km north of Jaipur. Set on the dry wrinkled Aravali Hills, and surrounded by fortified battlements, the palace straddles two sepia-hued tundra hills overlooking Maota Lake, and its sprawling crenellated walls lattice the surrounding hills. We will ride up to this hilltop palace on a caparisoned, painted elephant, passing through the ancient main gate where Maharajas of Jaipur have entered for four hundred years. Our guide will elaborate on the history of this architectural masterpiece with its mirror-studded alcoves, dazzling mosaics and water-cooled swings that delight today’s visitors as they did their former royal residents. Elephant Ride at Amber Fort!!! Evening free to explore the colorful Jaipur market. Overnight at hotel.

Day 05 - Jaipur-Fatehpur Sikri -Agra By Road
Golden Triangle & Nepal ItineraryAfter breakfast, depart for Agra, en-route visiting Fatehpur Sikri (40 kms.), built by Emperor Akbar in 1569 and abandoned after 15 years due to scarcity of water. See the graceful buildings including the Jama Masjid, Tomb of Salim Chishti, Panch Mahal and other palaces. Agra was the capital of India at the time of Moghuls in the 16th and 17th centuries and its superb monuments date from that era. Situated on the banks of the Yamuna River, Agra has a magnificent fort and that building, solely for which, many people have been visiting India - the Taj Mahal. Late afternoon, visit Agra Fort - the seat and the stronghold of the Mughal Empire under successive generations. This was the seat of Mughal rule and administration and the present structure owes its origins to Akbar who erected the wall s and gates and the first buildings on the eastern banks of Yamuna River. Shah Jehan added the impressive quarters and the mosque while Aurangzeb added the outer ramparts. Visit its Hall of Public Audience and its Royal Pavilions.

Day 06 - Agra
Early Morning, witness the magic of the ultimate symbol of Mughal achievement, The Taj Mahal at Sunrise. Taj Mahal, a dream etched in milky white pristine marble is the peerless monument portraying the beauty of eternal love! A commemoration of the memory of Shahjahan's beloved wife, Mumtaz. Taj Mahal is indeed India's rich tribute to womanhood. Renowned for its aesthetic beauty, this extravagant building of timeless beauty is the outcome of a unique combination of passion and architectural exuberance.

Day 07 - Agra-Jhansi-Orchha-Khajuraho By Shatabdi Express
Morning, after breakfast in time transfer to railway station to connect the train for JhansiDepart Agra by Train No. 2001 At 0815 Hrs. Arrive Jhansi (Shatabdi Express) At 1040 Hrs. Meeting and assistance on arrival and transfer from Jhansi to Khajuraho by road (181 kms.), en-route visiting Orchha. Orchha - Set in a medieval city teeming with Palaces, temples and cenotaphs dating back to the Bundela Dynasty, the former capital of this region is now just a village, but the old fort still stands and contains Bir Singh Deo's fine palace and another palace built for, but never used by, Emperor Jehangir. The Fort is on an island in the Betwa river.

Day 08 - Khajuraho/Varanasi By Flight
Book NowKhajuraho has always remained tucked away from the main stream events of history. This is probably why the famed temples escaped the ravages of invaders. The origin of these temples as well as the history of the Chandela dynasty, during whose era they were built, are not fully documented. However, it is generally agreed that they were built between 950 A.D. and 1050 A.D. and that they numbered no fewer than 85. Today only 22 Temples in a good state of preservation, survive. Morning, after breakfast, half day tour visiting the western group of temples of which the most important are the Chaunset Yogini temple dedicated to Goddess Kali and the Kandariya Mahadev Temple, 31 meters high, which has a fantastic range of sculptures including sensuous themes. The Chitragupta temple is dedicated to Surya-the sun God. Also visit other important temples like Vshwanath and Nandi Temples, Lakshmana Temple and the Visha Temple, dedicated to Shiva, and the largest and most typical of temples.
Afternoon, transfer to airport to connect the flight for Varanasi.
Depart from Khajuraho by Flight - Arrive Varanasi - Meeting and assistance on arrival and transfer to Hotel.
Varanasi - one of the holiest cities of Hindus and a fascinating city of the east. With an array of shrines, temples and palaces rising in several tiers from the water's edge, it is also a city of fairs and festivals, celebrating about 400 of them during the year.

Morning Boat Ride at Ganges to see the sunrise. .
Early morning, boat excursion on the holy river Ganges to see the bathing ghats and cremation site. Watching people bathing and worshipping at the Ghats is one of the most extraordinary experience of a visit to India. After breakfast at the hotel, half day sightseeing tour of the city visiting the Bharat Mata Temple with a big relief map of India in marble, Durga Temple, Tulsi Manas Mandir, Banaras Hindu University which has an Art Gallery and the Mosque of Moghul Emperor Aurangzeb.

Day 10 - Varanasi/Kathmandu By Flight
After breakfast, in time transfer to airport to connect the flight for Kathmandu. Kathmandu - Unique and fascinating capital of the Royal Kingdom of Nepal, it is a deeply spiritual land isolated by the high Himalayas. Afternoon,half day excursion to Patan visiting the Old Newar city & Tibetan Handicraft.

Day 11 - Kathmandu
Morning, after breakfast, half day city sightseeing tour visiting the Durbar Square, Hanuman Dhoka, the ancient residential quarters and temples. Then visit Swayambhunath, a 2500 years old site where, it is believed, the radiant Lotus, according to valley mythology, settled when the water was drained by Manjushri, the Goddess. The 5 Dhyani Buddhas attended by their consorts are enshrined at the base of the stupa. Afternoon, half day excursion to Bhadgaon - Another Newar city founded in the 9th century. Visit Bodhnath, the 2500 years old Buddhist stupa; a holy place for Buddhist pilgrims from Tibet. Also visit Pashupatinath temple area. .

Day 12 - Kathmandu/Delhi By Flight
Morning at leisure.
In time, transfer to airport to connect the flight for New Delhi.
Arrive Delhi & transfer to the hotel. .

Day 13 - Delhi/Departure
Morning free for shopping. (Check Out Time 12 Noon) In Time, transfer to International Airport to board your flight for onwards journey.
